Low maintenance, tough and hardy, this plant looks stunning planted alongside ponds and dams. Also known as Red Blady Grass, Cogon Grass and Red Barron Mature Height: 30-60cm Mature Width:30-60cm Position: Full Sun / Part Shade Water Zone: 2 (for pond edges or bog areas) Preferred Soil Type: Any, Well Drained. We recommend using Grow Better Premium Potting Mix if potted. If adding plants to a pond that contains fish, we recommend using garden soil or potting mix with no added fertilisers. Then add a layer of pebbles to keep the soil from washing away. Landscape Uses: Bog Garden, Courtyard, Screening, Hedging, Cottage Garden, Container / Pot Ongoing Care: Keep moist during very dry periods. Liquid feed and mulch if in garden or pot. Slow-release fertiliser annually or as needed. We recommend Campbells Rustica Plus Fertiliser. Fertilisers not generally needed if plant is in a pond that contains live fish.
